Something Bigger Than Ourselves

I sat there hoping for a breakthrough. Knowing it wasn’t deserved didn’t deter my eagerness for it to happen. It would simply make the victory that much more amazing. Every time the score got within three or four points, I moved to the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting to see the miracle. As it turns out my hopes were in vain.

Accidental Idolatry

The other day I was listening to a radio program about preparing Christian children for the challenges of college. I agreed with some of what was said and there were other things I disagreed with, but the one quote that caught me off guard, that I disagreed with the most, was when the speaker said that the Bible is the foundation of our faith.
